Dear Stu, Gordana and colleagues,

With or without math?
This is the question!

And the answer is simple - with !

Because mathematics is not only the formulas with which not very
well-prepared teachers torment us from elementary school. It's not just Set
Theory. Not just Category Theory.

Mathematics is a way of thinking and a set of languages that allow us to
externalize our thoughts in a compact and reasonable form.
Of course, one would also add the vast number of relations modeled and
studied using these languages.

Well, let's talk about the transition.
I would like to ask in which language the obtained results will be fixed.
For example, a genealogy would probably be described by a graph, ie.
mathematically!
Or the heritability tree - graph again!

Let's be clear,
if a person has something to say, then a powerful enough linguistic means
will be found to convey his ideas to other people, and why not machines!
And that will all be math!

But, "it's from bit" is not mathematics, and not even informatics.
It is simply another way of presenting the idea of the Creator, ie. God.
I don't have a problem with someone thinking that, but it's not a topic for
meaningful discussion.

Finally, in support of the idea of information processes in agents,
I will note that there are elements that should, at least in rudimentary
form, exist in the agent - receptors, effectors, memory (receptoral,
working, permanent) and an organ capable of generating predictive models
(goals) and manage the achievement of those goals.

With respect,
Krassimir
