Dear All,

We have not very active in last weeks regarding the session on Emergence
of Human Sexual Behaviour by Rainer Feistel.

My impression is that the theme has so dominant aspects in our societies
(and obviously in human individuals on a personal basis), that the
evolutionary discussion does not easily trespass the stumbling blocks of
culture, ideology, and generalized prejudice. I cannot help but remind
the soliloquy in the  "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" movie:   "And this
positively infantile preoccupation with bosoms. In all time in this
wretched Godforsaken country, the one thing that has appalled me most of
all this this preposterous preoccupation with bosoms. Don't you realize
they have become the dominant theme in American culture: in literature,
advertising and all fields of entertainment and everything. I'll wager
you anything you like that if American women stopped wearing brassieres,
your whole national economy would collapse overnight." Change a little
bit the wording and that's what I mean.

Anyhow, Rainer, we have learned a lot --at least me personally-- from
your evolutionary hypothesis on the peculiarities of human sexuality.

Thanks a lot for your contribution. You are welcome to enter some
concluding comments of the session if you see it pertinent.

Best regards--Pedro
