Polarized views
2024 01 15
Dear Fis,
This current session has worked on subjects that are related among other
but not to topics that apparently relate to rules of counting. Not having
anything to contribute to the particularities of the discussion, let me
place your discussion into a more general perspective.
You see, recognize, discuss concepts that are visible for you, because you
each carry a polarizing viewer creating a picture that is consistent for
each of you.
Perhaps the suggestion may be allowed to consider an alternative headset
for the virtual reality you are in. Yours polarizes along the properties of
concepts of similarity. There is one available that creates a polarized
picture based on contrasts and differences.
(One team of archeologists explores according to plans made by
magnetometry. The idea suggested is to look also at maps created by using
gravitometry /or something comparable/ in addition and to overlay the two
systems of measurements.)
Do you think it is possible to develop doubly polarized lenses? The one
currently used measures the shadows concepts throw according to how many of
similar units the shadows add up into. The alternative view would perceive
differences among the properties of the shadows. That counting ends up with
a bunch of related differences, not with one result.
The insider speak among yourselves is at times hard to follow, as
apparently words are given different denotations if you use them in your
dialect. In the best case, one can come to an agreement, what words like :
description, collection, state, sequence, dna, prediction, tautology etc.
mean. It would be the best to set up the lexicon again. Was there not a
proposal that the learned friends order and reorder 12 books on their
table, paying specific attention to the linear sequences called ‘cycles’
that are in their entirety a description of the reorder? By such a method,
one would have an agreement on what the terms: place, extent, movement,
coordinates, etc. mean. Not being anchored in elementary concepts can lead
to the appearance of a collection of learned friends discussing whether the
effects of phlogiston are correlated with miasma and how much human insight
will alter the miasmatic properties of phlogiston.
The Sumerian monopoly on memes and interpretation and narratives and media
presence esse delendam! We have to stand up for diversity and distinctness
as co-descriptors!
