Hi Xueshan,
Thank you for providing structure for a great discussion. I wonder how much distance might be between your concept of inforware and the concept of the enactive mind? (And, it might be limiting to equate it too closely with neural brains or even nerve nets, given the sensori-motor capabilities of the cell membrane in single-celled organisms.)
In terms of my own take on defining information, I dovetail quite well with perspectives recently offered by Gordana, Franceso and Karl but would sum it up in the simple semi-Batsonian bio-relativistic phrase… “The difference that makes a difference – to me”.
