[Fis] Five Clouds over Fundamental Information Science

Dear Krassimir,
No, I do not have my own definition of information, although I have thoroughly studied over the 150 existing information definitions. I accept the existing definitions of information, sign, and substrate as found in dictionaries, regardless of whether they are provisional or definitive. My primary concern is this: if we bypass the definition of information and move forward, what else can we achieve? Pedro has set a precedent for us by attempting to generalize certain principles of information science in this context a few years ago. Linguistics and genetics were also developed without a precise definition of "meaning" and "gene." My proposal for "inforware" is likewise an attempt to transcend the traditional definitions of information. It is our collective responsibility—yours, mine, and that of our FIS colleagues—to break the current stagnation in FIS with a transcendent approach.
Frege's triangle was introduced in a time when the concept of information was not widely recognized. If he were alive today, it is likely that he would incorporate information into this triangle. Part of our research on information aims to achieve this integration. Currently, the concept of "inforware" remains superficial and cannot be compared to the depth of Frege's triangle.
Best wishes,
Xueshan

Dear Xueshan,
1. In order to clearly understand your definition of the concept of "Inforware", I need to know your definition of the concept of "information". Please provide it!
2. You wrote: Inforware: Information must exist in signs, and signs must exist on substrates. We define a trinity composed of information, sign, and substrate as Inforware.
Please answer what is the difference between your definition and Gottlob Frege's triangle (please see below)?
Regards,
Krassimir
