Thanks Krassimir for bringing us to these interesting subjects.
Peterson proposes that we perceive the world by our models of the world (we do not have access to the real world). If an action does not match our expectations, anxiety comes in and it is not enough to just change our motor output. We may have to look at changing our model of the world.
I understand that as a focus on our meaning generation processes that gives us interpretations of the world and guides our actions for constraint satisfaction. And anxiety limitation is a key human constraint (in addition to our animal anxiety management). It may be an unpleasant subject to look at, but it is the reality of our human minds, and facing it may help for a better understanding of our actions.
There is a poster on that subject where anxiety limitation is presented as a key constraint that has guided our pre-human evolution to the performance of self-consciousness (https://philpapers.org/archive/MENPFA-4.pdf). A you will see the evolutionary approach based on anxiety management also offers a thread to an understanding of human evil.
This may look as beyond information and meaning but I take that as key in terms of understanding of our human nature.
