Dear Colleagues,
We are writing to invite you to participate in the online conference "Theoretical and Foundational Problems in Information Studies", as a part of the IS4SI online Summit, September 12 – 19, 2021, https://sites.google.com/view/is4si2021
The purpose of this Conference is to bring together academics, researchers and practitioners providing beneficial conditions for presenting and discussing recent achievements in information studies.
This invitation goes to the information science researchers who contribute the to the core of this exciting area as well as theoreticians from other disciplines who use information theory in their studies.
It is our pleasure to encourage you, as an active researcher, to present your results in this area at the Conference, and to recommend for participation those of your colleagues who have interesting results in Information studies and related research fields.
To participate, please send a tentative title and a short abstract of your talk (from 5 sentences to 1 page) to mburgin en math.ucla.edu<mailto:mburgin en math.ucla.edu>.

Accepted extended abstracts (1 – 2 pages) will be published online in the Book of Abstracts of the Summit. Selected short papers (3 – 5 pages) will be published in a journal as the Summit Proceedings. The best contributions will be included in the book published after the Conference and/or published in the journals affiliated with the Summit.
