Dear colleagues,

First, let's treat a person who has left us with respect!
RIP!

And secondly, as a scientist who spent his paid career precisely in such an
environment, I have long been accustomed to such "peculiarities" of leading
positions, who, even after retirement, continue to not feel the need to
give everyone time to express their opinion.
This means, according to a very respected scientist, that they are simply
not prepared to speak briefly and waste the audience's time with "clever
blah-blah"!
That is why I always prefer to take the floor last and show how one should
participate in discussions and conferences.
