Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to participate in a short online experiment we
are currently running as part of a research project on sound symbolism and
emotional valence.
The study aims to investigate whether sublexical phonemic patterns (in the
absence of lexical meaning and human prosody) systematically convey
emotional valence.
In the experiment, participants are asked to match short, robotically
pronounced pseudowords with visual stimuli. The task is simple and takes
only a few minutes to complete.
The experiment can be accessed via the following link:

Participation is anonymous; we only record basic information such as native
language and gender, and no personal identifying data is collected.
If you have a few minutes and are willing to contribute, your participation
would be greatly appreciated. We would also be grateful if you chose to
share the link with colleagues or students who might be interested.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
With best regards,
Velina Slavova, Krassimir Markov
