Dear colleagues,

I am sending you information about a Special Issue that I am editing in
the journal Entropy (ISSN 1099-4300, IF 2.0). The journal is accepting
original research submissions for the Special Issue entitled
“Statistical Approaches for Modeling Human Social Systems”. This Special
Issue focuses on statistical approaches for modeling human social
systems, with particular attention to the integration of
information-theoretic and entropy-based concepts. For more details,
please visit the Special Issue webpage:

https://www.mdpi.com/journal/entropy/special_issues/743FE6D236
<https://www.mdpi.com/journal/entropy/special_issues/743FE6D236>

The submission deadline is 30 June 2026. You may submit your manuscript
at any time before the deadline, as papers will be published on an
ongoing basis once accepted after peer review.

Submitted manuscripts should not be under consideration elsewhere. We
also encourage authors to send a short abstract or tentative title to
the Editorial Office in advance (entropy at mdpi.com).

I would be very grateful for your help in promoting this Special Issue
among your colleagues, post-docs, and students by sharing or reposting

An article processing charge (APC) of 2600 CHF applies to all papers
accepted after peer review. If you need a discount on the APC, you may
contact me directly and I will be happy to check the available options.
Additional discounts may apply if you have previously reviewed for MDPI
