Dear Krassimir,
Regarding "a synthesis integrating autopoiesis with dissipative structures
(Prigozhin), trophic ecology (Lindemann) and agential realism (Barad)," I
invite you to consider my 4DST framework (Four Dimensional System
Thinking). The first three dimensions are Structure, Procedure,
Culture(information, context, cognitive eigenresults, belief), the fourth
is "time" or "self-organization."
Observation/measurement/distinction/perception can be done on the first
three dimensions, and if clear enough and comprehensive enough,
predictions/expectations can be made on the fourth dimension. If so,
Prigozine was focused on Structure, Lindemann is more or less focused on
Procedure (his energy flow processes), and Barad belongs to the Culture
dimension since his "agential cut" as co-creating phenomena can be seen as
cognition/interaction results/eigenstates.
What do you think?
Best, Jason
