[Fis] Yes, the idea of creating the physical world through information is completely wrong

Dear Jason,

If one is not a believer, it is easy to see that the idea of creating the
physical world through information is completely wrong.

Below I will give you a few quotes from my keynote speech at the IS4SI 2025
Summit in Varna, Bulgaria.

It was titled “Transfer of Data vs Creating of Meaning: The Key Role of
Information Interaction” and was based on the General Information Theory.

The change of the structure and/or functionality of the entity, which is
due to impact of the other entity we denote with the notion "*reflection*".

Reflection relations:

1) In reality: entities and their reflections,

2) In consciousness: mental reflections of real or mental entities;

3) Between reality and consciousness: sensory reflections and creative
psychological (self-) reflections.

Data = reflections, not recognized by Infos

 “information”

= “data” + “meaning”

= “mental data” + “meaning”

“meaning”

= “mental model” = “knowledge”

*Data, Information and Knowledge are all types of reflection.*

For Infos in the Reality there exist two types of reflections:

- Data : not recognized reflections

- Knowledge : externalized mental models

In everyday language the “Information” is a combination of both “knowledge”
and “data”.

Shannon's Information Theory and Quantum Information Theory both consider
the data.

With respect,

Krassimir
