<p style="font-family: Ubuntu, Helvetica, Arial; font-size: 11px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Aunque las <strong>mujeres </strong>representan la <strong>mayoría del alumnado universitario</strong>, <strong>su presencia en las titulaciones y empleos STEM</strong> sigue siendo minoritaria. En España, las mujeres ocupan <strong>menos del 20 % de los puestos tecnológicos</strong> (19,5%), con una infrarrepresentación especialmente acusada en áreas estratégicas como la informática, la inteligencia artificial o la ciberseguridad.</span></p>
<p style="font-family: Ubuntu, Helvetica, Arial; font-size: 11px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Esta <strong>desigualdad</strong> no responde a una falta de talento, sino a <strong>barreras estructurales</strong> que reproducen estereotipos de género, segregación ocupacional y desigualdad en las condiciones laborales. Las mujeres se concentran en <strong>puestos menos reconocidos y peor remunerados</strong>, con mayores tasas de temporalidad y menores oportunidades de promoción profesional.</span></p>
<p style="font-family: Ubuntu, Helvetica, Arial; font-size: 11px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 20px;">La <strong>brecha de género</strong> se reproduce también en la transición ecológica y energética, un ámbito altamente dependiente de perfiles STEM. En España, las mujeres representan solo el 24 % del empleo vinculado a la transición energética, y a nivel global su participación en el sector de las energías renovables alcanza el 32 %, con una presencia muy reducida en los puestos técnicos y de responsabilidad.</span></p>
<p style="font-family: Ubuntu, Helvetica, Arial; font-size: 11px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Además, las <strong>condiciones laborales</strong> de los sectores científicos y tecnológicos —entornos masculinizados, jornadas extensas y falta de conciliación— <strong>favorecen el abandono femenino de las carreras STEM,</strong> especialmente tras la maternidad o ante responsabilidades de cuidado.</span></p>
<p style="font-family: Ubuntu, Helvetica, Arial; font-size: 11px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 20px;"><strong>El Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia es una fecha clave para visibilizar estas desigualdades y reforzar la necesidad de políticas públicas y laborales que garanticen la participación plena de las mujeres en las STEM</strong>, condición imprescindible para una transformación digital y ecológica justa y sostenible.</span></p>
