Dear Sir / Madam, 

The European Commission wants to stimulate health professionals to focus
more on health promotion and disease prevention. However, in order for
health professionals to do so, it is needed that they obtain the
necessary knowledge and skills during their education. 

The EC as commissioned Ecorys, an international research and consultancy
agency, to conduct a project with the first aim to develop an EU wide
overview of the current education of health professionals with regard to
health promotion and disease prevention. 

For this we need your help! 

We would kindly ask you (or the coordinator of the program) to fill in
an online survey, which will take approximately 15 minutes. 

Second, please also forward this link to coordinators of programs for
other health professionals within your setting, such as: 

·       Physiotherapists 

·       Occupational therapists 

·       Nurses 

·       Pharmacists 

·       Social workers 

·       Psychologists 

·       Dentists 

SAFE THE DATE 

The second aim is to set up an European network of educations to discuss
how health professionals should be trained in health promotion and
disease prevention. 

For this we would like to invite you to join a workshop (the 16th of
January 2020 in Luxembourg) and/or conference (30th of April 2020 in
Brussels). Costs will be covered by the EC. In case of interest, please
let us know by mail (see below) and safe the dates! The official
invitation with the program will follow soon.
