Objetivo: Financiar proyectos de investigación biomédica y en salud de excelencia científica e impacto social (investigación básica, clínica o traslacional).

*	Áreas temáticas: Neurociencias, Oncología, Enfermedades cardiovasculares y metabólicas relacionadas, Enfermedades infecciosas y Tecnologías facilitadoras (tienen que ser nuevas).
*	Modalidades y cuantías:

*	Proyectos individuales: Hasta 500.000 €.
*	Consorcios de investigación (2 a 5 entidades): Hasta 1.000.000 €.

*	Duración: Hasta 3 años.
*	Fecha límite de presentación: 18 de noviembre de 2026 a las 14:00 h (CET) 

IMPORTANTE: Validación de propuestas por la entidad participante (Organization Manager)

Para poder completar y enviar definitivamente la solicitud en la plataforma telemática de la Fundación ”la Caixa”, es imprescindible que el Organization Manager (OM) de la entidad anfitriona valide y autorice la propuesta de forma electrónica. Dependiendo de la institución a través de la cual presentéis la solicitud como Project Leader (PL), debéis seguir el procedimiento correspondiente:

1.	Solicitudes a través del CSIC:

*	La validación en la plataforma la realiza VICYT como Organization Manager del CSIC.
*	Quienes deseen presentar propuesta como PL a través del CSIC deberán remitir la documentación tan pronto como pueda a Gerencia INMA: gerencia.inma en csic.es para que la envíe a VICYT mediante SIGUE.CORP. 

2.	Solicitudes a través de la Universidad de Zaragoza (https://sgi.unizar.es/convocatorias ) :

*	El rol de OM corresponde al Vicerrectorado de Investigación.
*	Se recomienda a los investigadores que vayan a solicitar la ayuda a través de UNIZAR ponerse en contacto con SGI gesinves en unizar.es para coordinar la revisión e instrucción interna del expediente.. Plazo interno SGI: 11/11/2026 a las 8:00.

Dear researchers,

*	Objective: To fund biomedical and health research projects of scientific excellence and social impact (basic, clinical, or translational research).
*	Thematic areas: Neuroscience, Oncology, Cardiovascular and related metabolic diseases, Infectious diseases, and Enabling technologies (must be new).
*	Categories and funding amounts:

*	Individual projects: Up to €500,000.
*	Research consortia (2 to 5 entities): Up to €1,000,000.

*	Duration: Up to 3 years.
*	Submission deadline: November 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (CET).

IMPORTANT: Proposal validation by the participating entity (Organization Manager)

To complete and officially submit the application on the ”la Caixa” Foundation online platform, the host entity's Organization Manager (OM) must electronically validate and authorize the proposal. Depending on the institution through which you submit your application as Project Leader (PL), you must follow the corresponding procedure:

1.	Applications through CSIC:

*	Validation on the platform is carried out by VICYT as CSIC's Organization Manager.
*	Those wishing to submit a proposal as PL through CSIC must send the documentation to INMA Management (Gerencia INMA): gerencia.inma en csic.es so that it can be forwarded to VICYT via SIGUE.CORP.

2.	Applications through the University of Zaragoza):

*	The OM role corresponds to the Vice-Rectorate for Research.
*	Researchers planning to apply for the grant through UNIZAR are recommended to contact SGI at gesinves en unizar.es to coordinate the internal review and processing of the application file. SGI internal deadline: November 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
