<div>Thanks for asking this important question. I’m curious to see how others might answer it. For me, the “mental model” is a centralized system for information processing that receives inputs from multiple sensory mechanisms and can induce action
as a consequence. In biology, this can be a centralized nervous system and whole organism behavior as the form of an output. We illustrate this process as we read and write FIS posts.</div>
