Some months ago, Dietrich </small></font></small><big>Rordorf who
manages our fis web pages server at MDPI (see his previous message),
created a site for uploading/sharing files and papers by the FIS group
at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://sciforum.net/group/fis">http://sciforum.net/group/fis</a>
.
It was thought as an extension to the FIS mail list - open to anyone
to join and post to the group what would otherwise not be allowed on
the official FIS mail list. Tough, I think it was never widely
announced
and as such, it's not (yet) being actively used.
All of you are invited to use it and to contact Dietrich if his help is
needed.<br>

The new parties joining the list after Vienna, as well as the veteran
ones, should remember the three posting rules: 1. <u>Scholarly style</u>;
2. <u>Only two messages per week</u>; and 3. <u>Clean posting, </u>deleting
old previous messages and not sending attachments. It is not quite
perfect a code, but it is an interesting way to manage and respect the
"commons" of our collective attention. The list is almost 18 years old,
and these rules have granted our survival until now... <br>

FIS web pages are at: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://fis.sciforum.net/">http://fis.sciforum.net/</a> Unfortunately the site
is too minimalist. In next months we hope to organize the archive
contents (many thousand messages) along the many dozens of different
discussion sessions held. People willing to chair a short session (e.g.
to present a paper or to discuss a conference presentation), or chair a
regular one, are invited to send me their idea offline and we would
look for a convenient schedule. During the sessions, tangential
comments are acceptable but it is better to try to link them with the
running topic; otherwise during the intervals the topics may run quite
freely.<br>
